2	Novice feat choice (pick one)	The Negotiator	Add +2 to the Bartering check. You can propose unconventional trades, but the offer must still be roughly fair in value. The bonus does not force an unequal deal.
		Debt Collector	Add +2 to the Bartering check when negotiating a price, or the Persuasion check for a non-price favor. Treating the assistance as a debt creates resentment, and the target does not consider you a friend.
		Pyramid Scheme	Gain Pyramid Scheme Active, granting +2 Bartering on subsequent trades for 1 hour.
3	Passive bonus	Carrying capacity bonus
4	Mastery bonus	+1 to Bartering rolls
6	Apprentice feat choice (pick one)	Know a Guy	On success, the merchant offers a few pieces one or two tiers above the settlement's normal stock and a rare reagent, all at a steep markup. This stock remains until the next restock. On failure, the contact does not trust you.
		Golden Aura	The target makes a Wisdom save against DC 13. On failure, it becomes Bought Off, unwilling to act against you while the effect lasts, with -2 Strength and -2 Dexterity. More gold makes refusal harder to justify. The target remembers the transaction.
		Everyone Loves a Critic	The target makes a Wisdom save against DC 13. On failure, Buyer's Remorse gives it -2 Strength briefly. On success, it is unaffected.

10	Adept feat choice (pick one)	Deep Pockets	Merchants carry double gold. A merchant you already visited keeps its current gold until the next restock, then uses the increased amount.
		Full Shelves	Merchants show 50% more wares. Additional stock is weighted toward reagents.
		Top Shelf	Merchants show twice as many higher-rarity items.
