But even half-right is better than clueless, and at least you know which library has the definitive answer."

Activation

You fail a History check.

Effect

When you fail a History check, you still half-recall the subject: three pieces of information surface, two accurate and one misleading, all stated with equal confidence so you cannot tell which is the false one. You also remember where the correct answer could be confirmed.
