The Taste of Magic is a Novice Arcana feat.
"Magic has flavor, quite literally. Enchantments leave residue on your fingertips like grease, curses coat your tongue with copper and ash. You've learned to read these sensations, to know when something wants to help you and when it wants to eat you."
Activation
You lick or taste a magical item, enchanted object, or spell focus.
Effect
You can determine whether the magic is beneficial, harmful, or neutral, receiving a general emotional impression (warmth for healing, cold dread for curses, electric excitement for enhancement). Cursed items taste hungry.
