Alpha 0.0.26 is a game update released on 13 June 2026. This patch lets you undo and cancel your turns, improves the combat log, and fixes a few bugs.
Undo
- You can now undo your most recent turn, rewinding the game to the moment before you sent that message. Your message returns to the chat box so you can edit and resend it.
- Undoing returns any items you used or picked up and reverses all movement and damage from that turn.
- You cannot undo a turn where your character died.
- You can undo the turn combat starts, but you cannot undo turns mid-combat. This may change as we balance the feature in the future.
- Undoing does not refund the credits used to generate the original message.
Note: Undo rewinds a lot at once, so the story can occasionally come back slightly inconsistent. If you encounter any issues, let us know.
You get a daily undo allowance, resetting at midnight UTC:
- Free: 1 undo per day
- Premium: 3 undos per day
- Max: 5 undos per day
Cancel
- You can now cancel a turn for a short period of time after sending it. Cancelling pulls your message back out of the chat and returns it to the input box.
- Cancel isn't guaranteed. If the game has already started acting on your message, the cancel will not go through.
- You can cancel each turn only once, and cancelling does not cost you any credits.
Combat
- Grabs, grapples, and chokeholds are now better supported in combat.
- An enemy that kills your character remembers the kill, with minor buffs if you face them again.
- Attacks that deal several kinds of damage at once now roll a single time for hit and critical, rather than once per damage die, and still appear together as one grouped card. Multiattacks are rolled separately, one strike at a time.
General Improvements
- Epic & Legendary Crafting: Provided your Creation or Potions skill is at least level 12, an epic material now guarantees an epic result, and a legendary material now guarantees a legendary result. There will be future balance changes related to Creation such that items cannot infinitely improve.
- Uncommon Gear: Uncommon items are now available from character level 1 instead of level 2, so better gear can show up a little sooner.
- Evasion: Your chance to evade an attack is no longer capped at 40%. Heavy evasion builds can now push it much higher, though each point of evasion helps less than the last and has diminishing returns.
- When your Creation or Potions skill is too low to craft with legendary materials, the game now tells you outright and keeps your materials instead of consuming them.
- Whispers and private asides now better stay between you and whoever they're meant for. This is an ongoing improvement and needs your feedback to improve further.
- The tips shown under "Your Turn" now match your situation, with different advice for combat, hiding, low health, and exploration depending on the current state of your game.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where some healing actions dealt damage instead of restoring health.
- Fixed a bug where you wouldn't automatically move into range for a ranged attack on a faraway target. You now close in as long as they aren't too far away.
- Fixed a bug where certain attacks were wrongly logged as you damaging yourself.
- Fixed a bug where removing an item from a trade didn't recheck whether you could now afford the rest.
