Alpha 0.0.24a is a game update released on 4 June 2026. A small update that fits your custom character to the world's lore, eases the start for new players, and reworks party and accompanying members.
Character Customization
- When you write your own details to customize your character, they are now adapted to fit the world's lore. We keep as much of the detail you provide as possible, and only change what directly contradicts your selected options/portrait, or established canon. The closer you are to the game's lore and established rules, the more integrated your customization will be.
Getting Started
- New characters now start with a more beginner friendly quest instead of the goblin threat, making the opening easier for new players.
Party
- Your party now holds you plus up to three allies, up from a single companion.
- You can invite NPCs to your party whose character level matches up to your own level. However, if you are below level 4, you can still bring along anyone up to level 4.
- Elite characters can now join your party, but they fight at partial strength. (Experimental!)
- Note: We're monitoring to make sure powerful allies don't trivialize the game, and we'll make balance changes as needed.
General Improvements
- The party screen now shows each member with their level, race, health, armor, and evasion. Elite and higher-tier members show a tier icon on their card.
- Escorts and captives now appear as small portrait circles below your party, with captives marked by a red ring. Tap one to release a captive or dismiss an escort.
- Nearby characters now show a tier badge when they're stronger than normal.
- The bubbles for nearby characters in your location panel now show their level.
- We have increased the reasoning level of individual NPCs, let us know how it feels. (i.e. too aggressive, too erratic etc.)
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where your party could fail to move into a small location that was already crowded with characters.
