Alpha 0.0.12 is a game update released on 18 February 2026. This patch improves character immersion, introduces planar travel, and includes a round of Narrator and layout fixes.
New Features
- New Starting Scene: New characters now begin their journey in a unique introductory encounter before arriving in the prologue region.
- Planar Travel: Under certain conditions, you may find yourself traveling to other planes with unique encounters.
- Server Notifications: You will now receive in-game notifications when the server is down or experiencing issues.
Interface
- Various visual and readability improvements to character portraits, dialogue layout, dice rolls, and narrative text.
- Dialogue from certain powerful characters now has a distinct visual style.
- Moved the View Feats button into the character sheet.
- Fixed layout issues with exported character cards.
- Removed the 'Get Inspiration' button. This feature is being reworked and may return in the future.
Performance
- General performance optimizations throughout the app. Everything should feel noticeably smoother.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where existing characters above level 1 could not pick their level 1 feat.
- Fixed a bug where the Narrator would not recognize nearby characters.
- Fixed a bug where movement would sometimes fail and travel 0ft.
- Fixed a bug where character pronouns would display incorrectly in narration.
- Fixed a bug where the Narrator would not ask for clarification when a player's request was unclear.
